Who We Are
Expertise built on empathy and student safety.
Expertise built where the clinic meets the kitchen table.

School Nurse SAFE was founded by Kim Goldmacher — nurse practitioner, certified diabetes educator, school nurse, former ER nurse, and mom of two medically complex kids. Her children were both diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes before age two. T1D is where this platform started — but it's far from the only condition her family knows.

Sending a medically complex child into someone else's care is one of the most vulnerable handoffs a parent makes. Kim has been on both sides of that moment — as the clinician, and as the mother holding her breath.

Every resource on this platform was built by someone who knows what families are afraid of, and what it actually takes for the adults around your child to feel truly prepared.
